15th ICADS World Congress on Art Deco

Rioplatense describes the culture of a region on both sides of the Rio de la Plata that produces crops and cattle but also tango music, avant garde literature and arts as well as modern architecture and design.
The minimalist landscape of plains and waters of the region inspired the building of modern artefacts that borrowed ideas, images and materials from different parts of the world to shape eclectic cityscapes.
The Congress will offer an exceptional experience of the Rioplatense Deco World that flourished during the 20s, 30s and 40s by means of tours and visits, lectures and readings, cocktails and events.
